You will be required to fill out a New Patient form including your contact details and Health history. Afterwards your therapist will ask questions determining if massage is appropriate for you and what areas and conditions you would like treated.
Appointments last 30, 45, or 60 minutes. Full body massage treatment lasts an hour. Half hour massage sessions allow time for a specific area, such as neck and shoulders, back, legs and feet.
You may or may not need to undress depending on the technique your therapist uses and area being treated. For a full body massage most people undress completely or down to their underwear. Your massage therapist will give you privacy to undress and you will be covered with a towel or gown except the areas being worked on.
